CARS rescues dogs and cats in medical need, obtains appropriate veterinarian care, transfers them to a foster situation, then facilitates their subsequent adoption into an approved home. Appropriate care may include vaccinations, spay/neuter, and in several more serious situations, organ removal and/or amputations.
NOTE: We do not currently have any foster homes available. Please continue to contact us if your pet requires medical assistance.
Assistance to Senior Pet Owners
When our senior citizens find that they don't have adequate resources to keep and care for their beloved pets, we try to help out and make this one less worry for the pet parent. Food and or care assistance may be available.
Responsible Pet Ownership Education
Pet ownership isn't only a heartwarming experience, it's a serious responsibility. We provide education and guidance on the many aspects of responsible pet parenting including veterinary care, spay/neuter needs, and promotion of pet health and happiness.
