A few months ago Chuck came to CARS with a wound through his upper hip. CARS' very supportive vet felt that Chuck was shot with a practice arrow (no head on the arrow). The entrance and exit wounds healed beautifully.
Chuck and his owner had a very strong bond between them. However, Chuck’s owner had a second stroke and a serious blood disorder. He could no longer care for him, so CARS once again stepped in.
Chuck was posted for adoption on CARS' Facebook page and was soon invited for a home visit with a potential adopter. Less than one day later, Rose officially adopted Chuck.
Chuck is now living large in his new home on Saint Simons Island.
