Our Senior Program Other Assistance
Sometimes we have a senior pet that needs assistance, sometimes we have a senior pet owner who needs assistance, sometimes we have both. In conjunction with several local veterinarian offices, we will provide care in these cases. Several of these pets have been with the CARS Senior Program since its institution.
Bandit - bowel and bladder problems; seeing a vet and a change in lifestyle and he's on his way to good health
Gypsy, rescued on Christmas day; rescuer asked for assistance prior to moving to Kentucky; have a happy life!
Odie, attacked by a bigger dog, was at the vets when seen by a CARS volunteer. Odie's mother needed financial assistance for his treatment (severe neck and throat injuries); CARS funded Odie's treatment
Flynn's rescuer fell in love with him when she first met him. However, he required extensive medical treatment at a facility in Jacksonville. CARS stepped in and covered much of the financial cost involved in his treatment.
Today, Flynn is living large in his new home. The cone of shame is gone and his mom says that he's doing great!
